Surely I have not set you on your path

and seen you safely to this day only

to abandon you or let you lose your way.

There is guidance to be had for the asking;

answers and practices for those patient

enough to wait. There are pointers,

portents, and particular instructions.

Not an hour passes but what you need

to know or see or receive comes to you

in some fashion, mysterious or plain.

But all the same, it is a rare one among you

that doesn't have to pray for help or ask

that the way be made clear. Know this:

I am with you always -- in you, above,

below, and all around. In sacred silence

and in terrifying chaos, I am alive, awake,

responsive, and embracing. Not one breath

is taken by you, not one shiver of foreboding

or moment of joy is felt that goes unnoticed.

You are that dear to me, each of you,

unique and irreplaceable. If you knew

how I treasure you and could see each other

with my loving eyes, how different the world

would be in which you spend your life.

Now go in peace, tenderly holding what

I've told you, deep inside your heart.
